Hi All,
First time poster here! In purchased (saved) a 2011 Insignia 2.0 CDTI SRI hatchback which needed a huge amount of love, the car needs a proper before / after post of the work I've done on it when I get some time!
I've changed the front and rear bumpers as they were both badly damaged, and in doing so I've disconnected the parking sensors that were mostly all broken. I have installed an Android stereo with reversing camera and don't have any interest in having parking sensors, so my question is... Is it possible to permanently disable the parking sensors so that as far as the car is concerned they don't exist? At the moment I constantly get the "service parking sensors" message.
I'm guessing I'll need particular Vauxhall software / an auto-electrician to do this but any advice welcome.
Thanks!
Josh
