Looks a bugger to get out. Il see if I can get someone to hold plate there and see what happens, if I can patch it up for. Mot no rush, if not probably pop into local garage and get them to change on a ramp for cash [emoji23]

Many thanks for the input tonight. There is a good reason I stay away from fixing cars [emoji23].
If you saw what I stripped and rebuilt on a daily basis you would wonder why I'm so useless with cars [emoji23]

Again many thanks everyone, hopefully can sort before the 11th.

Get the new one ordered anyway. If that sorts it, at least you wouldn't have to fork out for a sensor, quite a bit more

Well 05:30 this morning on my back in a way I don't like [emoji23]. Managed to super glue exciter back on to remaining part. Ran software and had to relearn the auto levelling system and all faults cleared. Not holding out on repair lasting long, it was more to prove sensor was OK etc.

So gonna order a new one and probably get it fitted as I ain't got a jack [emoji23].

Again many thanks to everyone for input. [emoji106][emoji2957]

Yeah but it's been booked in for a full year, since last mot [emoji23]. Motordepot working again now, so it's in for mot and full service.

Shame, it would have eased the pressure of repairing and bought you a little extra time to source parts cost effectively.
