Remote alarm/central locking



System operation

Pressing lock button locks all doors and fuel flap and activates alarm system Fig.1.1.
Pressing lock button again within 15 seconds of locking vehicle activates double locking system and alarm system Fig.1.1.
Pressing unlock button once deactivates alarm system and unlocks driver's door only Fig.1.2.
Pressing unlock button twice deactivates alarm system and unlocks all doors and boot/tailgate Fig.1.2.
Pressing boot/tailgate release button unlocks boot/tailgate Fig.1.3.


NOTE: Alarm/central locking functions can be altered using the vehicle's on-board multifunction control system.

Method 1:



Unlock vehicle using key.Switch ignition ON.Synchronization procedure complete.Method 2:

NOTE: Not applicable to entire model range.



Switch ignition ON with key to be synchronized.Repeatedly press "MENU" button until the message "Vehicle information menu" is displayed Fig.2.1.Turn selector button until the message "Relearn Remote Key" is displayed Fig.2.2.Press "SET/CLR" button to confirm Fig.2.3.

Programming



When

Key added or replaced.
System malfunction.
How

Keys can only be programmed using diagnostic equipment.
Obtain owner's vehicle security card.


NOTE: A maximum of 8 keys can be programmed.

Open car with the key that works this will switch off alarm, then try spare key in ignition barrel and follow procedure.

If that doesn't work you will probably have to go to dealer to get key programmed
