  • Opel Insignia GS Turbo D - Croatia

    Hi everyone,

I bought GS 1.6 Turbo D (100 KW), almost a year ago, and since then, I've done some slight modifications, so this is my progress thread.
I'll upload more photos and update thread in the next few days.

This is my Insignia GS a few days after I bought it.

First thing I did was to tint windows. It already looked way better than before

The next thing was LED lights, full beam, and high beam (I'm not sure if I said this right?)
It's a Croatian company that uses Phillips chips and custom cooler, so they can be turned on forever and not get heated. Not really sure if this is true, but I've been driving for 14 hours with 2 stops, with them turned on, and they worked just fine. I've had them on my Astra for 2 years, and now for the last half-year on Insignia. You can find them here: https://erfolgled.com/en/

The next thing I did was to get new wheels, 20"... this was the biggest upgrade since I bought my Insignia. I also bought a Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. I believe tires and brakes are two things you shouldn't save money on.

Nice! That's what I did but then I bought a dummy dual exhaust trim from AliExpress.

Well, I first wanted just one, but then when I saw a few Insignias with 2 exhausts, I was thinking little about it. But then I decided I'll do a dual exhaust once I buy 4x4 2.0 D. Until then, I'll stick with just one. TBH, the mechanic said it would cost me just 100€, and he would do a real dual exhaust (not one real and another one fake).

I like those at yours Marko! Have you got a link somewhere for that? I've been looking at ali, but couldn't find it. Now I'm pretty sure I won't buy it, but still would like to know
