Exhaust gas sensor

Hi guys
Anyone know where the exhaust gas sensor 1 is on my cdti 2013
After warning sign “ engine overheated “ came on
I’ve had a computer warning code “2479 - exhaust gas temperature sensor 1 high temperature history “
And Code “ 2428-exhaust gas temperature high temperature current
Also the code p0672. Cylinder 2 glow plug history
Also p2101 throttle actuator position performance low temperature. History
My question is. Is this all connected. Or are they seperate problems ?
I ainÂ’t noticed any other problems and the car drives perfect. No black smoke. Fuel economy good
Has been regenning recently though twice in 2 months
Any ideas anyone ?
Shall I replace glow plug 2 and the sensor 1 wherever it is. When I find it

Hello Parvez tge exhaust gas sensor 1 is the catalizer sensor , you should have 2 if you look down between the radiator and the engine you should see 2
Top one is number 1
From what you are saying, did the car over heat ???
The codes are all historical codes and not present.so it's saying those codes are stored and not been cleared
Best thing is to erase codes and run car and monitor.
Just because it's flagging up thease codes dose not mean it's a component fault
It could be a wiring issues .
If you are good with electrics then you could isolate the issue
The exhaust gas temperature sensor has either 2/3 wires
1 wire is live ( normally between 5-12 volts )
2 wire is ground
3 wire is signal ( as wire 1 )
I would not go changing components without first checking wiring .
Glowplugs, depending on what type you got ( either non pressure or pressure type) can be expensive if the pressure type
But a simple test with a volt meter set to ohms will clarify the issue there .
Throttle actuator position ,is a bit more complex , it can sometimes be a case of dirty corroded pins on the plug .
The actuator itself could of lost communication, dirty throttle body .loose actuator.

No the engine didn’t actually overheat and after my mechanic plugged it into the handheld computer it was back to its normal self
I will defo check the wiring
But the service vehicle light is on ,could that have anything to do with either the actuator or the glow plug or the sensor ??

P0672 cylinder 2 glow plug control circuit - current, history

Check your glow plug chances are it's failed.
Very easy to do as lizard pointed out in previous post. Resistance check the glow plug would be where I'd start
