  • Hello one and all!

    Hi folks,

My girlfriend has a 67 plate 2.0 Turbo D Sports Tourer SRi with about 19k miles on the clock. She has seen me doing a lot of work on my own car (57 plate Astra 1.4 SXi), and she has asked for my help in doing the basic servicing on her Insignia. Of course, I can't tell her that I have learnt all that I know about mechanics from watching YouTube, posting on the "Astra Owner's Club" forum, and reading my Haynes manual from cover to cover. So here I am! I have done a little digging about and cannot find a lot on YouTube in the way of Insignia B/Mk2 How-To stuff, and as you may be aware, there is no Haynes manual to speak of. The first thing I am going to be doing with the car is an oil and filter change, so you can expect a thread about that in the near future with me asking an exhaustive list of questions! I don't suppose there is a "go-to" place for Insignia B/Mk2 guides and how-tos online?

Thanks for having me, and I look forward to getting to know you all.

Sorry, but as you dont actually own an Insignia, your membership will now be put through for deletion.

You have to excuse R2D2 he has a sense of hummer which is licking in today's wacky races world .
I first came on here looking for advice on a bubble blower for my 1990's theamed disco party's, soon learned they did not have a clue
                              What I was on about.
They are still awaiting a letter from my doctor to confirm if I am of " stable mind "
So I suppose my account deletion is forth coming.
                              Enjoy the ride!
