                          Small world .

I’m in holmhead but originally from Auchinleck.

Changed a fair bit recently with the super school being built and Prince Charles’s houses at knockroon.
Dumfries house is a nice place to go for a wee wander now as well.

Not a pop man but last couple of Sundays we've suddenly started having an ice cream van start visiting our street but not had chance to use it as yet. My Grandma used to get all their pop and would get some irn bru rip off, coca cola, american cream soda and some limeade thing that was a shade of green that is normally used for anything radioactive in the movies!!

Not quite, but I DO remember when I was about 6 (1958) living in Thornton Heath, our bread van was horse drawn, and the local Sainsbury's used to pat butter for each customer (sounds a bit pervy, Google it!).
As a young teen I did a milk round for a quid a day, occasionally the milkman would let me drive the 3-wheeled electric float, the highlight of my weekend
