  • Door Handle Chrome Strips

My passenger front door handle, the chrome strip that is on it was hanging off today, work colleague told me.

On looking it is the front clip that looks broke, It is still attached to handle so I placed a bit of bluetack in the hole and pushed the lug back in.

So where can I get a new one from, is is a VX only part or is ebay the best bet. Anyone know where best to get them from

When I first got my chrome strips the tape supplied was pretty sparse, so I added some more double sided tape inside myself (the thin type - call it 'conference tape' or something...). They stuck on nicely, through washing and everything. In fact, when I came to sell the car I couldnt get them off .

I invested in some chrome handles for my new car too, about ?20 from eBay.

        Something like this for handles?

        Heres the tape I used

        Thanks for that.

Hopefully my bluetack bodge will keep it in place. I have some double sided carpet tape at home so may cut a strip of that and stick in on handle.

Also like the complete chrome covers, hmmmmm
