  • Wing mirror glass removal

    Hi folks,

I tried removing my drivers mirror glass but failed. It doesn't seem to want to budge even after i loosen one end, and i think i may have broken a clip inside. I electronically adjust the glass till it is facing the drivers windows, then had a poke with my plastic trim tool from the outer edge of the mirror getting to the inside to release the clips but doesn't seem to budge. The vec c was a piece of cake. I thought this would be as well.

    Cheers.

Press the top of the glass inwards so the glass is forced out from the bottom. Using a plastic wedge, prise the lower edge of the glass outwards to release the internal retaining clips.
