  • Seat belt security screwdriver

    Hi All,

I am planning to replace one of the rear seat belts in my Insignia saloon (MY09). However it is helt in place by security screws (star head) and therefore regular screwdrivers can't be used.

Does anyone know where i can get this type of screw driver head to remove these ? Is it a specific generic named part that i could bit in a DIY store ?

    Thanks,

    Piethief

I tried a TORX T30 just now but that was too small, i will get a set as "3/8 inch" doesn't appear to be a valid size:

        Hi all,

Completed the replacement. Just thought i'd post an update for reference.

My 2009 Insignia needed a Torx T50 head to remove the two bolts holding the seat belt in place, i used this set from Hlafords:

Given that Vauxhall had quoted me ?300 parts and labour to do this i am happy with the result., The second hand belt cost me ?25 and the tool kit cost ?15. Bosh !

        Thanks everyone for the help.
