Has anyone had any experiences of using this?

    http://www.g-3glassc...asked-questions

The dealer I got my car off put this stuff on my car as a freebie.??I've read on the website that it provides protection for 5 years but to be honest I don't trust that!

The car needs a wash but I now don't know whether I need to polish afterwards or if I do it will negate the g3 stuff already put on!

Apologies if these sound like dumb questions, in my defence I have not hand washed a car for at least 8 years so find all these different products etc confusing.

    Appreciate any replys.

    Thanks

    Jon

Personally I'm not a fan of these products. It sound similar to Scotch guard protection. If you washed your car properly, prepared the surface polshed and waxed it with decent quality products you'd be doing that twice a year and just washing and drying it the rest of the time. You didn't pay for it which is a bonus but I'd still be topping up the protection with a wax.

In all honesty you have spent alot of your hard earned cash on such a good car, your gonna want to be out waxing and polishing it and even though its had the glass coat applied more layers to protect your paintwork aint gonna harm it.
