    Petrol is pretty good but dont rub too hard.

    Itl be fine but only use a microfibre towel and as said ^^ take it slow and mask off the area to be sure

      What about nail varnish remover? Again, mask off and dab on gently. It removes most other things from most surfaces.

        Personally I'd use wet and dry. 600 grit or so, followed by 1200, and 3000, take it slow and gently rub it down. Once you reach clearcoat you can polish it. Any kind of paint remover is just asking for trouble. To do it best, get a piece of stiff flat plastic, glue the paper on and go gently.
