    If a pro is machine polishing your car they should also apply sealant/wax as well mate. All part of a full paint correction.

    MF won't work when they are dry. You need to dampen them first to pick up the water. You're smearing it as the towels dry.



    As for machine polishing, the detailer should clay the car first and decontaminate the paintwork. Then apply a sealant or wax. A decent job should be anywhere from 250-600 quid.



    If he's only machine polishing then get some CarPro CquartzUK. It's extremely durable and relatively cheap at 36 quid. This should last 18-24 months.

      Fair enough. All depends on how good a detailer they are . Most proper detailers tailor the products to suit the paint.
