    That sounds high. Should be what you think! Could it be wanting to regen and you are not driving far enough to let it complete? Take it a blast down the motorway keeping it above 2000rpm for approximately 20 mins! Should clear it out.

    If your air con is working hard it might be a little higher.

    mines the exact same. sits at just under 1krpm and has been for just over 2 years now..thought it was normal?? getting around 37mpg around town and up to 49mpg on a long run....no problems though
