I've been driving around 26 years and had 8 cars. I thought it might be interesting to see what cars fellow Insigniasts have owned over the years. I'll start it off with my list.
1 - 1988 Austin Mini 1000 - N reg (1974)??
2 - 1990 Ford Cortina 1.6 L - V reg (1979)??
3 - 1991 Austin Maestro 1.3 L - C reg (1985)
4 - 1995 Ford Fiesta 1.3 L - L reg (1993)????
5 - 2002 Ford Mondeo 1.8 Zetec - 02 reg (2002)
6 - 2007 Ford Mondeo 2.0 Zetec - 57 reg (2007)??????????????????????????
7 - 2012 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 Active - 12 reg (2012)
8 - 2014 Vauxhall Insignia 1.8 Energy - 14 reg (2014)
My most memorable car has to be the Mini. It was a total bag of bits but I loved it. I'll never forget that sense of freedom I felt, the first time I drove it on my own.
My favourite was the 2007 Mondeo Zetec. I was one of the first people in Hull to own one and wow it was a head Turner. My son still has it so I still get to drive it. It's 7 years old now but looks as good as new and has never had a single Issue. Still only 37k on the clock.
Least favourite was the Cortina. It had seen better days but money was short and we were tired of trying to fit a push chair in the back of the mini (back seat, not boot....what boot? Lol ) so rushed into it.
I'm loving the Siggy but have held off judgement for now because I haven't had it long enough. So far it's up there with the Mondeo though.
