  • LED reversing light bulbs for Facelift?

Bought some LED reversing light bulbs for my facelift hatch. Fitted them today. So much better than the standard items.

Thought they would be worth a try at that price. All good, no errors and I now have a chance of seeing what I'm reversing into!

I bought from the same ebay link and fitted them to my '63 sports tourer and they worked fine for the first day but today I had a "reverse light failure" message flash up. So much for being "error free", well miffed off! Anyone else got errors?

I fitted mine 30th Dec, working fine and so much better than the useless standard items.

I bought mine from exactly the same place. They're brilliant at lighting the way and, to be honest, they're not giving the error this afternoon. A bit hit and miss maybe? I'll see how I go on over the next week or two. I cant be doing with errors flashing up on the screen when I start the engine!

Perhaps a bad connection? Maybe pull them out and push them back in again to make sure they are well seated?

If you bought the ones i bought, try putting the one with the errors in the other way around.??They are not polarised, as the circuitry has an inverter in which will accept + & - on either pin, but they do seem to like one way better.??Also make sure they are seated firmly.
