No chemical will unblock a DPF no matter what it says on the tin,you will also need to know the saturation level of the DPF which this tool can do .
of the level is Above 85% and it's tried to regen ,it will stop trying after about 3-4 attempts then it will go into limp mode

How do you know doing a forced regen will cure the problem and that you wont be doing the same again?
first you,have to check oil level and smell of oil ,if it's above max and smells a bit of diesel then you have to replace the oil and filter before doing a forced regen .
do,you know what...

Starting off in second gear! Hope your clutch is a good one.
first and for most you require a good code reader to read the fault codes or it will be a guessing game..yes the DPF May be blocked but we have to understand why.i don't think starting off in second gear caused the problems.but it doesn't...

before you put the cam belt on how many rotations have you done of the engine.
