It just an air hose as long as it's open to the element then that will do as temporary.

Yes it may well be.check your breather system block which is at the back of the engine, just make sure it's not clogged.
Oil on the crank shaft sensor sometimes means you have a leaking rear main oil seal

No need to apologise.but this is the crack we get from some people.( Not you but others )
They come on here with a problem.we give them the solutions and help them .
They then seem to not believe us
So they go on Facebook forums and do the same .Now Facebook and all social media...

Not another FACEBOOK hack was that ?.
I say if you want the truth ( even if it hurts) then ask here .it may not be the answer you want to hear but its the truth from people who know
.if you just want to hear what you want to hear then by all means scour the internet.but dont expect sympathy...

Look I keep looking at other women.but as long as I don't get caught with my fingers in the cookie jar then I'm doing ok .
Because if I do then I'll have to dig my own grave .

Have you done a leak off test. Have you checked the output of the temperature sensor for the ECU ?
a good thing would be to get a good diagnostic tool that can read live data .
fuel trims would be one to look at ( short and long term )
But I seem to remember we had a whole big thread...

No it's just nox sensor.
the revs rising is a completely different kettle of fish which if you, have highlighted then they should take that on board as a possible fault.
