In all honesty diasy2 I'd be very surprised if the update clears the limp mode. It sounds like you've got a bigger problem to start with, however, you may get lucky when they plug their code reader in to do the update as hopefully it should find the fault without you having to pay for just a fault diagnosis.

And they can't reverse the update either so they are spinning you a line with that.

And how much is the extra insurance?



Re. The update it was going into limp mode too easily I believe for example when the oil life was 0% I'm thinking that's the fix on the update.
