Long story but cars been suffering with brake squeel at low speed, today noticed it squealing at motorway speed so decided to get the grease out this afternoon.greased fronts and one of the rears with copperslip but they didn't need it as everything was free and working as it should be.then did nearside rear and the top caliper slider is jammed solid bottom slider is free and sliding normally.took the caliper carrier bracket off and it still won't budge,put it all back together and went to europarts they don't do them. My question is if you get a new caliper carrier do you get the 2 sliders with it or are they separate, will the seized slider come out with a bit of heat as it's really seized solid.

Use 3M silicone grease on the sliders not copper grease/anti seize. Other greases will break down the rubber boot causing it to seize up again -
Cheers guys used heat on caliper carrier,managed to get top slider out.cleaned out hole and sanded slider packed with silicon grease all seems good.2015 Sri vx line nav BiTurbo .
