OK! What Mods?

I collect my Insignia Elite tomorrow (Thursday) I cannot wait.

What mods can be done? I would like a reversing camera, Dash cam, fitted properly, but already asked in another thread with no response.
Any ideas as to where I could get both fitted and also what other mods can be done. My 1st Insignia so all ideas are appreciated.

Change all interior bulbs to led.....the sky's the limit as far as mods are concerned,depends how deep your pockets are,,,,the elites sit like a 4x4,lower it ?

It depends on your tastes regarding mods. A few easy and cheap mods are Heko wind deflectors, aluminum door pins, led internal bulbs, led reverse bulb and led number plate bulbs.

I am up for the bulb replacement. What does the cost involve? Also the Wind defectors. Again, what are the costs?
Are the interior and number plates a difficult swap, is there anyone near me in Merthyr that does them?

I just looked on eBay and the cheapest Heko Wind Defectors I can see are about £25. Is that about the money?

Interior and Number Plate bulbs are an easy swap. Just watch if you LED bulbs in the number plate it may throw up and error unless you put a resistor in aswell. I paid around 25 for wind deflectors but there was a group buy going on on this site so have a look in the for sale section to see if thats still about

Hence my preferring to pay someone to do it for me.

What headlight bulbs does your Elite have? The best bang-for-buck mod I've done is HID headlight bulbs. They cost me £55 and took 15 minutes to do with no skill needed.

That'll save a couple of mods then...no need to fit a hid kit or get the tailgate lights working.

na but you will find a lot of easy to do mods that change your car in your on way
i like new plates and bulbs ect
