  • 2014 biturbo auto remap advice sought

    Hi all
I have a 2014 biturbo cdti auto and want to get a solod reliable remap that is a good balance of power and torque gains with real world ecconomy. Who woul you reccomend?

Also have used a tuning box on my old merc and although this improved it its fuel gains were gogus. As it just fooled the ecu as it messed with fuel pressure etc

Are the fuel consumption numbers with a proper remap real?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as am looking to do this shortly.

Based norfolk and cambridge way and do a good 6-700 miles a week

240/245 ps and about 480nm torque seems the norm for the Bi,after a stage 1 map

If you're any where near west Yorkshire etc search for west Yorkshire tuning...those guys are the absolute business....and reasonably priced too.

Have found ablocal guy, well Ipswich way, and he confirmed ecu needs to come oit and will take about 4 hours.

Do independant tuners use the same maps or commercial maps or do they do there own thing? Just want to know what I am likley to get. As if applying a common mainstream map thats one thing but if they all work up thereown that could be great or trouble. Any advice or experience here?

Anglia tuners are the guys I am thinking of just for info
