I didn't, I'm waiting on a friend of a friend to have a look at it. He's a polish guy who was an auto engineer for Opel and BMW, supposed to be very good with tracking electrical fault.
I also have an other car which I use for work so I wasn't in a hurry to spend a lot on dealer costs.
I will report back as soon as I get it sorted.

Did you ever get this sorted?? Similar issue with my own.
Dipped light was the light control unit. Changed twice, the tiny hole in the headlamp was letting in water and it runs straight down to a badly sealed control unit. 2nd time I fixed the hole and sealed everything.
Mirror and seat problems were fixed by a mate tracking broken wires. Bloody mess cause there are so many wiring looms.
Heated seats I didn't even bother.
I've had so many problems with this insignia that I have just given up. Don't drive it much so **** it !!.
Problems at the min -
Oil lift pump seal. Bitch of a job, cross member has to come out to get sump off.
Egr cooler cracked, also a job for small hands !.
Power steering pipe from pump to rack had to be changed.
I could go on.......

Did you have to replace the body control module by any chance?
Seem like a poorly manufactured car with endless lists of problems!
Garage done it first and failed to fill the leak in the headlight so it gave up two weeks later.
I got a new one (€100, genuine part from Opel Germany) took out the headlight, cleaned and sealed everything, especially round where the unit connects to the light and haven't had any problems since.

Worked straight out of the box.
This is it but the price has gone up a bit.
