    And a youhoo from me .

    Hello everybody
    53 year old heating engineer from West Sussex
    New to the world of insignia ownership. ( so I'm a virgin )
    Come from a long line of SAAB ownership and a moderator on a forum .
    Before That loads of Vauxhall vectra B ( inc a GSI )
    And loads and loads of other makes a models
    Like my cars .
    So what brings me here ? .
    Fancied a change , and , so far , liking it
    So it's a youhoo from me
    And best wishes to everyone

    Ah Saab...Another manufacturer gone to the scrapyard in the sky...Seems like an age ago their ads were on the tv with the jets flying around.

    Get some pics of the Siggy posted when you get the time.

                I miss Saab. Was looking into one of the Saab 9-5s before my insignia.

                Though parts and silly prices put me off. Which led to me getting my insignia. Welcome.

                  Thank you for the warm welcome everyone.its like a breath of fresh air the welcome on here yep Saab was the maker of there own downfall.for about the last year been looking for an insignia this one came up at the right price and spec ,the more i drive it the more im pleased i brought it .here are some pictures

                    Part prices were high .but it was not until people realised that the 9-3 was a Vectra C in drag ,some of the running gear.gearbox . engine was swappable but Saab had some different ways of doing things.like fiber optics for the head unit.DPF further down the exhaust system.

                      I feel top gear presented it best when they went over Saab all them years back.

                      Some very clever safety tech though that didn't make GM happy.

                              LED interior lights. Chrome mirror caps & door handle covers. LED reverse light bulbs. Pedal box. Atomic Alloys. Steel Structure spare wheel. Boot floor risers. Rear exit exhaust & rear valance. M Y ‘15’ front grille.
