  • DIY Aircon.

I just purchased the trigger and air con cylinder from halfords.
My aircon was blowing warm air, I was wondering if I had a leak to be hones.
Anyway for today at least its blowing cold again.

To be honest it's not blowing really cold air like it was when I got the car.
For those thinking of doing this, my advice dont.... go to a proper air con place.

The only reason I did this was because I was told I would get 3 aircon fills off one purchase.

For the price you pay for that you may as well go to an aircon place.

      Exactly.

My thinking was if I do get 3 goes from this it's like £20 a year.

But I wouldn't know until I tried, which I have.
You get what you pay for.

For what you save a proper garage would also vac it out and clean it, before refilling with colder aircon.
I get cool air blowing like it would on a cool day.
No where near the frosty air it once blew
