  • Morning All

Hi everyone. I've just bought a 2015 SRi 2.0 CDTi 140 Vx-Line Nav for the wife, and pick it up for her tomorrow. Got enough toys to keeps her happy. Heated cloth seats and steering wheel is a nice bonus. No Xenons unfortunately, but it has a cheeky LCD screen instead of dials. Looking forward to getting to know it better this weekend.

Is there anything I should be looking at especially? My Vectra's in the past have suffered from swirl valve, EGR and the occasional DPF issue. How are the Insignia's in these areas?

Some of you might remember me from my Vectra-C.com days as AJA. I was one of the original admins. Still miss that Vectra. Since then I've had a shed load of cars; to name a few -
    Zafira CDTi 150 Elite
    Vectra SRi CDTi 120
Astra 1.6 Twinport (fully modified and show winner)
    Mercedes CLK 320
    2012 Volvo S60 D4
2014 Mercedes E250 CDI AMG Sport Estate (current car)

As I said the wife will drive the Insignia but I'll be looking after it and will probably add a few modifications with the help of you guys. I'll probably show my face at a couple of local meets too as this was what I enjoyed the most.

    Welcome.....I've been on Vectra C since 2008.
Sounds like your Insignia is the limited edition one, especially with cloth heated seats and steering wheel.

          Nice colour choice there .
          Swirl flaps no problem
          EGR some problems
DPF some problems if not understood how to look after it ( if you catch my drift)

Love the colour, but then I may be a little biased.

Out of interest, does anyone know what Vauxhall call this colour?

It looks the same colour as mine and I believe they call it Asteroid Grey.

Feeling a bit stooopid! Picked the car up this afternoon and been getting used to it and have discovered that it has TPMS and reversing camera. Seems it's better kitted out than i thought.

My previous Insignia was asteroid grey, lovely colour. Check at https://www.vauxhall-accessories.com...all-paint-code to get the full colour code

And TPMS had been a legal requirement since November 2014. Good news about the reversing cam, though
