Spare wheel kit.

Hi Folks,
I have a 2014 Cdti with the pump and bottle of gunk instead of a spare. My wheels are 16" with a 60 profile tyre (215/60/16), will a 16" skinny wheel kit fit? I notice they are mostly 70 profile, I am guessing that will fit a 17" wheel car better? Also will spares from other 16" Vauxhall models fit? (Astras, Minervas etc).
Just got new tyres and I did not want to blow the gunk into a potentially reparable tyre, so thought a skinny spare and jack kit would be a better option.
Are there any guides of what wheels fit what cars?

It needs to be from an Insignia.
The "skinny" one ( spacesaver ) as you put it will fit.....as long as it's from the Insignia.
The Insignia has a pcd of 120.
The astra etc will be 115 and quite possibly the meriva the same.

If someone tries to sell you a 16 inch structure wheel, don't buy it as it's not from an Insignia.
The Insignia structures are all 17's
