Air box pipe work help please

Hi guy, been out today to try and fit my new bmc cda intake on the 2014 insignia 2.0cdti 140 Sri vx, silicon pipe work is too small 😔 it fits inside the air flow sensor housing and can't get it over, going to try a bit boiling water see if i can streach it but don't want to crack the housing.... Anyway, when I removed the air box there is a small line that goes into the air box, bottom right corner, what's it for and is it required? If I fit the intake there's no where for it to go with the pipework I have.

Any advice greatly appreciated 👍

Think I've found it, is it just a drain for the air box?
