  • Witnessed a crash today [emoji3525]

Driving between Ockham and the wisley services today, a 32 tonne wagon smashed into a stranded Astra in the inside lane. Thankfully she was out the car

I was in lane 2 anticipating him indicating out past it, so I was ready to flash, as I was literally behind him.

I just sat there watching “he’s going to hit that, he’s going to hit that, he’s going hit that”

    Then BANG

Astra spun round like a matchbox car. He didn’t even brake. Can only assume on his phone.

So old bill showed up I gave my witness statement, I asked him what’s the likely outcome?

    “ 6 points and a big fine I’d reckon”

    Bit lenient I think.

The lesson? Get out your car folks no matter what!

Car drivers on there phones is one thing but any truck driver on there phone should have there licence taken away! The amount of times I see other truck drivers on phones is ridiculous, if I'm overtaking and see a truck driver using there phones I give them a blast I usually get abuse back which I don't understand but it's one thing I hate!

          That’s nasty.

Could have been so much worse if she was in the car.

At least she had the sense to get out.

Obviously he's been doing something he shouldn't have been doing.
