Hi guys, my 1st post. 1.8 2012 a base model. Just bought a dash cam and need some advice on wheres the best place to hard wire it into. Seen it wired to OBD2 but not sure about that. Cheers

Ah sweeet thanks, well because the camera doesn't have an internal battery it needs both. Its a Thinkware U1000. It uses the voltage drop to swap to parking mode to record stills of any bumps or events as they call it. From what I gather on the obd2 port its 4 and 5 for negative and 16 for the + connection.Comment

No, mines on a constant live bud, the reason for 2 fusesin my fuse box is, one is for camera constant live and the USB is switched live for Amazon Alexa Mobile and any other USB devices I may need bud...Comment
