DMF Noise Petrol

Hi guys,



After having a noisy diesel previously, i have now got used to quieter engine of a petrol, now because i got used to how quiet the engine is, I am now hearing a juggering noise in the cabin as well as in the engine with the bonnet open., i have been told by the technician at a vx dealer that is the DMF, Is this normal to be able to hear the DMF rattle in the cabin on a petrol car, press the clutch the noise goes very quiet.

If the DMF is in good condition you can hear it?

That means something wrong with my DMF. Hopefully i can get them to sort it under the warranty and not get fobbed off saying the noise is normal.

Good luck mate ,ive learned summit else then,i thought only the 2.0t had a dmf plus the diesels

Cheers. Most Turbo Petrol have DMF these days.

that might have changed then on later models, noticed yours is a 13
