Throughout the years, solder dries and cracks causing failure then it dies.
I had this with a few times with the Vectra C's.
It had to be removed and reflowed.
I never had this issue on the vec c, but i did have the speedo cut out and it no longer moves, someone mention change the fuse should sort it, which i changed and it did sort it.

It’s nothing to do with dry joints generally. It’s the actual leds that are cheap crap. The solder has been done to perfection as you’ll see if you open them up. Simple enough job to desolder the old and resolder the new but you’ll need to do the whole lot in the dials pod to get them matching properly.
Takes an hour if you know what your doing.

just grave digging threads, so i have a similar issue to this however i can actually watch several of my dials flicker on and off i.e one half of the temp pod, 120-160 on the speed pod and 3k on rev upwards all those LED's randomly some times work. Just unsure if it is crappy soldering as they still work just only intermittently
