Cheap tyres.. what would you recommend?

OK so I know plenty of people will say you get what you pay for etc.. So please don't moan here.



Are there any cheaper tyres people can recommend?





I've just been quoted ?75+ vat for Achilles on 245/40/19

Or ?100 + vat for Nexen. Went with the nexen as they're the maker of the winter tyres I have on and I couldn't fault them. Any other cheapies that people recommend?

Preferred the Nankangs to the Goodyear F1 eagles I had!

I'm happily running nankangs at the moment. Had nexen on before which were ok too.

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if all 19s??are crap in the wet

My N8000 19s were ?100 plus vat. Pretty pleased with them so far

Pretty sure they are 8.5.

Lee the 18 you've been offered will be a little small for the insignia meaning your speedo will be out

Bit of research suggests that 18s are, as you say, 8j but the 19s and 20s are 8.5j.
