So the car went for its first MOT this morning. It went through no probs but we noticed oil residue which is most likely coming from the crank seal. Has anybody had problems with this before and should it be covered under warranty? The cars done 32k and registered 21/3/16

So my mot is due on the 13th March. Nothing wrong with the car all year, two nights ago, ABS warning light! Engine off/ engine on, light stays off, but it's been coming on again, intermittently, I'm pretty sure its the sensor. Last night DPF Filter light came on quick Google, 60 mph on the motorway...

I removed the crappy orange drl's from my Insignia sri 2010 and replaced them with led's which look much better as my mot is due in April would this be a failure?

Just failed, one issue is the steering rack is leaking and needs replacing.
Have been quoted £435 to supply and fit, does that sound reasonable?
Can I find a replacement with the reg and vin, he was ages on the phone to the parts place, seemed difficult to...

So my "new" insignia (2014) was put through an MOT by the garage I brought it from (before I took delivery) and I am a bit miffed by the advisory on it

Well folks, my 11plate went in for the MOT on Saturday,

And i'm pleased to say she toddled through it with out anything other than a broken rear spring, and only one advisory ' a slight crack/chip' in the passenger side of the windscreen..

My siggiy is due for its MOT later this month and I have just noticed that there appears to be an oil leak.
I am not sure how long the leak has been going on for as it was parked on tarmac before but now that it is parked on pavers I have noticed it. There have been no warnings about oil levels...

Hi all, does anyone know if a car will still pass the new MOT if the headlight levelling switch doesn't work and will it be checked as part of the new MOT. I'm concerned as my switch doesn't work and I don't want an MOT failure.
