I know it’s probably hard to diagnose but found it quite concerning and from a google search I can’t really find much!
It seems as though when I’m going a little bit faster (30+), there is some sort of ticking sound coming from the front driver side of the car.
I’m suspicious that it could be the tyre that is on it, or the fitter that has done something different as it’s only just started happening since changing the tyre a couple of weeks ago.
I’ve only really began to notice it now since I’ve barely drove just to the current circumstances.
Does anyone know where I should start with this and probable causes for this? Should I be concerned that much? Is it possible it’s the sh* tyre that’s on the wheel?
Also, since I’m bringing this up, when I’m going faster and beginning to break (over 60) I here’s a large whirring sound coming from the passenger rear wheel. It sounds like a wheel bearing, but it wouldn’t happen when I’m only braking. After a google search, I’ve been told there is a common issue that the rear wheels start to bind. Does this sound like the case?
I’m also looking at getting a full set of Bridgestone Turanza T005. Anyone ever had the tyres before and recommend?
Also anyone recommend any places that do alloy refurbishment in Scotland West area?
Many questions in one thread- apologises, but saves creating multiple threads
