Touch screen issues

So I am having issues with the touch screen.

I have done the calibration bit in the menu but when I tap on the screen it doesn't alway select when I have pressed.
Also when scrolling its not very fluid.

Do I need a new screen or is there anythinanything cam do?

In comparison I had a 2014 astra works car a few years ago and the touch screen on that was a joy to use.

sounds like you could need a new screen, they are not coded, i have seem systems running slow due to stored dtcs on the infotainment

What is a dtcs?

diagnostic trouble codes, i've seen a slow response on these systems previously and once i cleared the trouble codes it was smooth again, dont know if it lasted or not...

Is this something a dealer would have to do?

Plasma is your man for sorting it, dealers will cost a fortune
