Well, everything has arrived, both sets of tweeters, which, I have managed to get a set of them to fit in the original door housing so we'll pleased with that. It just means I have to buy another set now haha. Oh well, sub has arrived now too, just the rear amp to buy and build the enclosure but that will be fun as I want it to fit in the rear armrest similar to the below images...

Little update on a few things I've been tinkering with.
Firstly, new tweeters going in and wanted to take the black on black away a touch so I've had these made.
0.5mm mirror polished stainless laser cut from a cad drawing i did...
Then they fit around the tweeters to give a 2mm mirror surround...
Following on from this I also had these made to match in with the chrome door handle inserts...
To go around these..

Slight update, wasn't happy with the repeater surrounds as the lense itself hid the surround and didn't make it stand out, so, I ordered some slightly tinted ones, changed them tonight and much better and well chuffed indeed...

Latest update on a couple of things. We'll chuffed with repeater surrounds too...
Next update is, started installing the audio equipment, started with the rears, stripped both rear doors down and cleaned all the sticky crap off. Id already made the template for the new sound deadening membrane., sound deadened both doors and well, what a difference to the sound of the door even without the stereo on, deadens all the hollow tones of the door so I'm well impressed.
Fitted all the speakers including new tweeters in the door panels. Door cards sound deadened too and all put back together...
Wow, what a hell of a difference. Had JVC ones in there and they are absolutely poop in comparison. I have one major problem at the moment and that is ive only done the rears and yet the steering wheel is in the front
, so, I need to do the fronts as soon as I can...
