Alloy wheels damage?
Hi folks. All four of my alloys have developed a kind of pitting on edge. Not kerbed and not used acid cleaner. Anyone else experienced this. Photos of problem on link. Any help appreciated. Car is only 2 years old and not done much miles. https://flickr.com/photos/98516632@N...21576927456410...

Less than a fekking month after having the front end repaired, I’ve returned back to Depot today to find this on the rear passenger door...
pissed off doesn’t even cover it..
So it looks like ‘mr Chips away’ is gonna have to sort it,
And as per usual..(or company policy...

Criminal damage to my car!
Makes my blood boil!!! My month old siggy damaged by one jealous <insert bad word here>.
Reported it to the Police, I know they won't be able to do much as there's no CCTV/Witnesses. Albeit I know that the <insert bad word here describing the person who did it>...

ECO Mode, does it damage the engine?
Understand what you are saying.
But in terms of general wear and tear, the ECO mode probably adds little to the overall burden, bearing in mind that the average duty cycle of a car engine is probably no more than an hour anyway. Also, these engines have been tweaked to take...

CDTI 160 coolant leak, 2l of coolant loss - damage?
It should have given you a warning code that your coolant level was low. Mine did/does show when it is low. Keep your eye on it though because the EGR coolers are known to split & need replaced. You will get a good hint if you are topping off the coolant every couple of days.

Hired a van today for 24 hrs and moved my parents into a bungalow, on way to bungalow in the estate I was passing a skip on the road at less than 10 mph when a kid on a bike came from nowhere off the path,I swerved in order to miss the kid and hit the skip putting a 3 ft gouge in the vans side. Never experienced this before. Sounds like you need a polish to blend in the marks. Better with a DA than by hand.
