Humming noise
Since my parking sensors have started playing up I keep noticing a humming noise it sounds like it’s coming from the front of the car I think I’ve heard it before when I’ve popped the bonnet or a sound similar,not sure if it’s related to the sensors it’s just abit funny it’s started around the same...

Humming noise from rear while on tick over
When car is on tick over there is a loud humming noise from rear of the car, sounds electrical. I thought maybe the fuel pump?
Have got a video with it on if needed. Just sounded a little loud, but first time I have noticed it.

Hi all,
Ever since I bought my car a few months ago (2012 opel insignia select with 65000km) I noticed an odd humming noise (regardless of rpm the sound does not change). It was used for city driving before I got it and when I first picked it up this humming noise would happen quite often....

Strange random humming noise
It'll be the boost control valve, it is right up near the front panel under the bonnet, look by the passenger front light. it's a know problem with the siggi's and is a dealer warranty fit or cheap part fix.
They place a dome on the bottom pipe and it stops the humming type...

humming noise from the engine/front drivers side wheel.
A humming noise is often the boost control valve just to the right of the slam panel failing, but I don't think it normally lasts over 10 seconds.

Could well be the boost control valve, located to the right of the bonnet catch.
